On Wednesday evenings, the high schoolers meet up from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Acton Elementary. Each evening is focused on bringing teens face-to-face with God through singing, games, snacks and a lesson. The leaders offer Bible-based spiritual guidance in an environment where youth can ask hard questions and get real answers that speak to their life now. Group interaction goes beyond Wednesday nights to include weekend outreaches, parties, fundraisers and retreats.

Meeting with our young people every Wednesday night from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., the leaders try to provide opportunities for spiritual growth and development during these sometimes turbulent years. They work together in their effort to teach God's Word, provide spiritual guidance and model an example of the Christian life to the youth. They teach God's Word using topical lessons geared to this age and the particular problems or situations the youth are faced with, and provide examples of practical application to their daily life.

Each summer junior highers take on a week of team competitions and spiritual challenges. We call it the R.A.C.E. and it's held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The evening activities at Acton Elementary include free dinner, Bible lessons and notoriously dirty games. High school teens help staff the event while adult leaders challenge the youth to go all-out for God. Check out photos from this summer's events on Facebook. See the events calendar for upcoming event dates. |
