What is the problem with trying to get “the good life” out of observation alone? It doesn’t always work out? Why does corruption “always sneak in” and turn people from wisdom? Why does Solomon have such long sections offering “under the sun” wisdom – wisdom that is generally true with or without God? What’s he trying to accomplish?
