Acts 14
We were visited by a missionary we pray for often, however, due to the highly sensitive and dangerous nature of the region where he and his family labor, we cannot record his presentation for their safety and security.
In place of that recording, we are bringing back this past message from Acts chapter 14 by Pastor Wayne Wilson, titled “The Hunted Missionaries.” There is a profound providence in turning to this text today. In Acts 14, we see the Apostle Paul and Barnabas dealing with the exact realities our missionary families face right now: intense spiritual opposition, slander, and literal physical danger for the sake of the name of Jesus Christ. Yet, we also see a beautiful testimony of how God divinely protects His servants, how the Gospel breaks through dark cultures, and why a strong local church base is so vital to sustaining believers through tribulations.
