Obedience is Better Than Sacrifice

1 Samuel 14:47-15

What happens when we obey God—but only on our own terms?

In 1 Samuel 15, King Saul receives a clear command from God. Instead of obeying fully, he keeps what seems valuable, spares King Agag, and then attempts to justify his choices as an act of worship. His partial obedience reveals a deeper heart problem: he fears people more than he trusts God.
