When envy appears in our hearts, we must grieve it, repent of it, pray for those we envy, and intentionally seek their good. When the envy of others is directed toward us, we can rest in the unshakable truth of Romans 8:31–39: nothing can separate God’s people from His love in Christ Jesus.
